Letter From The Director

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Holy Name School website. Please take a few minutes to review the site and discover the difference academic excellence rooted in Catholic values can make in the life of your child. Discover the difference that dedication generates – the dedication of the school’s director, the school’s staff and faculty, and the school’s parents. The growth and development of our students, from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, results from Catholic and family values that are woven into the fabric which is Holy Name School.

On our Faculty & Staff page, you will be able to read short biographies written by faculty and staff members and come to know those who provide a warm and nurturing atmosphere in which our students learn and grow. In our Photo Gallery, you will see examples of class projects, field trips, and many school events which illustrate the positive learning experiences that happen daily at Holy Name School. We also invite you to visit the diocesan website, which lists all the learning outcomes and standards; these outcomes and standards mirror those on the state website.

As you view our website, you will be able to see the many opportunities offered to parents to take an active role in the education of their children. Holy Name School offers many community-building experiences for faculty, staff, students, and parents. Two examples which occur near the beginning of each school year are our Welcome Breakfast and Harvest Festival.
