This is a friendly reminder that we will dismiss all students at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 23. No after school care will be available.
We will screen students in grades 5–8 for scoliosis on Wednesday, May 22. The nurse will speak with students about this in school, and then an email will be sent out to families. It will provide additional information and the option to opt out. Please contact Mrs. Viveiros via email with questions.
Our annual walk-a-thon is just around the corner. We invite family and friends to join us at Bishop Connolly on Saturday, May 18 for fun, music, and food. Students who raise money through pledges can win prizes. Any student who brings in their pledges by Thursday, May 16 will be able to dress down the last week of school. There is no school on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. Enjoy your long weekend!
Join us in the Holy Name School gym on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for snacks, game stations, bingo, and more! Bring your mother/mother figure for a fun night of friendly competition! Tickets are $5 per person, and you can make payments online via the payment link we provide once the Son Plus One Game Night sign-up form is complete or by sending cash/check to the school office in a marked envelope.
We invite students in grades two through five to sign up for the Board Game/Puzzle Club with Mrs. Rogers. This club will meet on May 9, May 16, May 30, and June 6 from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. There are a limited number of spots open for this club. Sign-ups will be on a first come, first served basis.
Join us on Friday, April 26 at 6:00 p.m. for a Family Paint Night. An instructor will guide painters through the process of painting pictures that they will be able to take home at the end of the night. Young children may need adult assistance. Tickets are $8, and we will provide light snacks.
The Walk-A-Thon pep rally will take place on Friday, April 12. We encourage students to dress in their Husky gear.
We are excited to announce that Mrs. Remmes and Miss Silva will be coaching a running club! The club will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from April 22 through June 3. Practice will start at 2:45 p.m. and finish at 3:30 p.m. We will focus on running stamina, speed, and various core exercises. This is a great opportunity to be outside and exercise our physical and mental health.
Holy Name is having an Easter egg hunt on Sunday April 7 following the 10:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Name Church. Help make it egg-celent by donating individually wrapped candy, Easter basket goodies, and unfilled plastic eggs. You can drop off your donation at Holy Name Church or School.
